What We Do
Fast, friendly, and functional, our skate sharpening service is conveniently located on Main Street in Lake Placid, New York. We also rent hockey skates, figure skates, and snowshoes. In addition, the store is full of unique 1980 hockey-related memorabilia that make great souvenirs and are fun to learn about. Skates
With over 200 pairs of skates in both hockey and figure styles, we are sure to have what you need to get out on the Lake and skating great. We have brands from both Bauer and Jackson available for rent, and all of our skates are kept clean and well maintained.
Rentals & Trails
Snowshoeing
Not sure ice skating is for you? That's ok, we have snowshoes as well. The cramp-ons will keep you from slipping, and the lightweight design of the shoe will keep you on stop of the snow. Take them out on Mirror Lake, or ask us about other local trails and their conditions.

With an ever-expanding collection from over half of the "Miracle" team, we love sharing our collection and the history with visitors. It's available to be viewed while you wait for skates or sharpening, and if you find a piece you love you can even take home your own piece of Lake Placid hockey history!
